The Next meeting of the newly formed Young Grower Alliance of Virginia will take place on August 27th at Old Hill Cider in Timberville, Virginia. The Young Grower Alliance of Virginia is a support group for up-and-coming fruit and vegetable growers. Drawing upon Virginia’s rich history and promising future in produce, the YGA consolidates industry information to present it in a manner that encourages and prepares young, beginning, or next generation growers for a career in horticulture. Please feel free share this flyer and information with those who may be interested. Updates and reminders can be found at: https://www.facebook.com/virginiayga or https://twitter.com/younggrowerva. (Note: don’t let your definition of “young” deter you from involvement with this group, all are welcome and individuals ranging from teens to 50’s and 60’s have participated in past functions. If you feel you have something to add or feel you can gain from this industry group, by all means, please join us!)
