Willow Creek Farms Hiring Organic Field Crew for the 2019 Season

Willow Creek Farms is a 23 acre family farm located along the Trinity River in Willow Creek, California. In operation for over 20 years under the stewardship of Michael and Jennifer Peterson, we strive to provide exceptional produce to our customers while caring for the land. Organically certified by CCOF since 1998, we grow a diversity of high quality fruits and vegetables that are sold through local certified farmers’ markets, stores, and restaurants. We also wholesale across California through San Francisco based distributor, Veritable Vegetable.

Willow Creek Farms is looking to hire crew members for the upcoming season. Qualified candidates will learn skills to further their organic farming knowledge through on the job experience. Some of the duties include weeding, hoeing, transplanting, harvesting, and farm maintenance. Farm work is physically demanding work, so applicants need to be fit and capable of lifting 50 lbs. Willingness to work outside in any type of weather is a must. Successful candidates must be able to work well with others as well as complete tasks on their own.  Previous farm experience is not required. More important is a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.

Hourly wage $12 and up DOE. Seasonal and year round positions available. Farm crew positions available immediately. 40-50 hrs/week.

Shared facilities and camping are available.
