Volunteer Coordinator position at Gaining Ground (Concord, MA)

Gaining Ground is a small non-profit based in Concord, MA that grows organic produce for hunger relief with the help of community volunteers.  We are looking for a part-time Volunteer Coordinator interested in sustainable agriculture, food security, and meaningful community service to work 10-12 hours per week in our busy office during the growing season (now through October).  The position pays $10 per hour, and starts immediately.

The Volunteer Coordinator will be responsible for organizing and scheduling farm volunteers, maintaining our volunteer database, managing volunteer surveys, and other related tasks.  Additional duties (as needed) may include answering correspondence, assisting with publicity and events, and contributing content to the Gaining Ground website.
