Virginia’s Annual Sustainable Agriculture Conference
We will again be at the Institute Conference Center in Danville, a great facility with ample space for exhibits, meals and breakout sessions. Eliot Coleman will be our keynote speaker on Friday, Feb. 11, 2011.
New farmers – A special pre-conference workshop Feb. 10 (9 am-4:30 pm) designed specifically for you will address the needs of those just starting out in ecological farming. We will use a case study of an emerging small-scale enterprise to provide the processing framework and inspiration you will need for planning your own farm.
