New Farmer and Gardener Mushroom Production Workshop in Detroit Tomorrow (Oct. 22)

I (Taylor) will be giving a workshop on small scale mushroom production at Earthworks Urban Farm tomorrow, Oct 22nd from 6-8 pm.

Cost is $5, or $3 for Garden Resource Program Collaborative Members.

October 22nd: Fungus Among Us; Into to Growing Mushrooms, Earthworks Urban Farm, 1264 Meldrum, 6-8PM What delicious and nutritious food can be grown year-round, inside and outside, with little light or cost? Mushrooms! Come learn how to be the most “fun –gi” on your block at this class on growing gourmet mushrooms. In this class we will learn the basics of mushroom cultivation, including the right types and materials needed.
