Sustainable Grass-based Dairy & Creamery in Pennsylvania Seeking Interns

Milky Way Farms, based in Troy PA, is currently offering internships on our 4^th generation family dairy farm and creamery. From milking cows and raising calves to bottling a variety of dairy products, this position offers a full “farm to table” experience. We are seeking highly motivated individuals with a curiosity to learn about sustainable farming.

Tasks and responsibilities could include daily milking, using farm equipment and machinery, caring for dairy and beef herd, retail store and diner help, bottling milk, seasonal cheese-making, butter & ice cream, general maintenance and more. Lodging included with a weekly stipend, as well as all the dairy and beef products you can eat!
