Senate Farm Bill Debate may Leave out Beginning Farmer Programs

The National Sustainable Agriculture Coalition asks why, as the the Senate begins it’s floor debate on the 2012 Farm Bill, it appears they may leave out essential beginning farmer and rural development programs.  Have you called your Senators to tell them what you want included in the bill?  Let your Senators know that you want a farm bill with real reform, and real opportunities for rural economies and the future of farming.  Read the following action alerts for talking points and information on potential amendments to the farm bill: Please read the update, and take action!
