Permaculture Workshop 4/29-5/1, 2011 in Michigan
Song of the Morning Ranch will be hosting a permaculture workshop featuring Permaculture Design Course instructor Wayne Weiseman on the weekend of April 29-May 1.
Join us for this three-day Introduction to Permaculture, which will involve a combination of classroom instruction and field experience that will help us view our respective landscapes, at Song of the Morning and elsewhere, with fresh eyes. Permaculture is a land use and community building movement that strives for the harmonious integration of human dwellings, microclimate, annual and perennial plants, animals, soils, and water into stable, productive communities – it is an approach that honors spirit in nature. The focus is on the relationships created among these elements and the way we place them in the landscape. Instructor Wayne Weiseman is certified by the Permaculture Institute of Australia as an instructor of the Permaculture Design Certificate Course, which he has taught for many years. Wayne is Director of The Permaculture Project, a full service, international consulting business promoting the ideas of eco-agriculture, renewable energy resources, eco-construction methods, and education. Fee: $250 ($225 on/before April 15). For more information, see https://www.goldenlotus.org/Permaculture1.pdf
