Chinook Farms, a 132 acre certified organic farm located near Snohomish, Washington, is seeking a farmer to manage (or lease) the vegetable and small animal portion of the farm in 2013.  This part of the farm includes up to 8 acres and includes an established and successful community supported Farm-Share program, wholesale and restaurant customers and small livestock operation. The farm also made a strong and successful presence at the Everett Farmer’s Market in the 2012 season. The infrastructure includes 7500 square feet of hoophouses and a complete array of tractors and implements.

The position would include management of the CSA farm, allowing the farmer flexibility to generate income to the business with creative entrepreneurial ideas. This is a perfect opportunity for someone with 2-3 years experience managing a CSA modeled farm business.  Ideal candidate(s) will bring strong farming (vegetable and livestock) experience, detailed administrative skills, as well as a passion for sustaining the ecology of this beautiful parcel of land.  Housing is available.
