NOFA Mass Winter Organic Conference 2015
The Northeast Organic Farming Association, Massachusetts Chapter (NOFA/Mass) will hold its 28th Annual Winter Conference at Worcester State University on Saturday, January 10. The conference features over 60 workshops, exhibits, an all-day seminar and keynote by Greg Judy, rotational grazier and carbon sequestration advocate.
The conference draws about 1,000 from Massachusetts and neighboring states. 2015 workshop topics include crop production, farm management, health, homesteading, livestock, beekeeping, food justice, policy, skill building, infrastructure, soil, urban/backyard gardening, land access, and organic land care. The conference will be followed by a post-conference dinner with Greg Judy.
This is an event for the whole family. While you attend great educational workshops, your children experience age-appropriate and fun workshops about these same topics. The children’s conference (ages 3-12) provides a lively, interactive educational experience for kids. Hands-on, do-it-yourself workshops keep teens active and engaged.
