The Office Administrator will be involved in all aspects of MOFFA including, Membership, Mail, Telephone, Email, MOFFA Board Meetings, MOFFA Books, Tote Bags and other items for sale, Financial, Newsletter and NewsGroup, and the Website. Conditions of Employment
The MOFFA Office Administrator will be an independent, hourly contractor paid by MOFFA at a flat rate of $15 per hour. (This status does not include any benefits and the contractor will be responsible for handling their own Social Security payments.)
It is expected that the Office Administrator position will require up to 10 hours per week on average, but not to exceed 40 hours per month without the written approval of the MOFFA Board. More hours per week may be needed to help with the annual Organic Conference, other special events or preparation of the newsletter.
The Office Administrator will need to provide adequate office space for the necessary MOFFA files, supplies related to membership, etc. and the use of the MOFFA computer, printer and photocopy machine.

Candidates must be proficient in the full range of Microsoft Office programs. Previous experience in working with a non-profit organization would be helpful. The position requires considerable initiative and an ability to work closely with the MOFFA Board.
