At Laughing Salad Farm we are passionate about what we grow. Our farm is family-run and dedicated to providing our community with a wide variety of fresh, delicious, nourishing produce. Whether you’re enjoying a salad, a hot vegetable dish, or eating it raw, you’ll know it’s all safe, not only for your family and friends, but for Mother Nature, too. Laughing Salad produce is grown in an environmentally sustainable way with the utmost respect for the land. We are a family run Organic market farm. Operating all four seasons, our farm practices are similar to Curtis stone, Jon Martin and Eliot Colman.
Starting in April going through October and potentially all year long. Spring time will part time hours, moving into the main season will be full time hours. Wage will be determined by your experience.
This is a physically demanding position, working outside in all weather conditions. You will be planting, trellising, pruning, harvesting, weeding and a lot of other farm related tasks.
We are looking for someone who enjoys physical labor and working outside. This person needs to be reliable, hard working, have a great work ethic, great written and verbal communication skills, be able to follow both written and verbal directions well, must be able to work quickly and efficiently with attention to detail, must be able to work well independently as well as with others. We are looking for someone who is willing to commit to working for the entire season. Previous farm or garden experience is a plus.
