POSITION TITLE: Program Officer

LOCATION: Arlington, VA

GROUP: Wallace Center, Enterprise & Agriculture

REPORTS TO: Wallace Center Director

Closing Date: Close of Business on April 15, 2011

POSITION SUMMARY: The Program Officer will provide leadership in enhancing the Wallace Center’s market based strategies program by developing a new technical assistance and training program for organizations that work with vulnerable communities engaged in food and agriculture enterprise development, social enterprise and good food value chains. Responsibilities will include designing, implementing and managing the technical assistance and training program and managing the completion of all deliverables, including evaluations and reporting. As a member of the Wallace Center staff, the Program Officer will also play a role in developing new partnerships, collaborations and identifying and seeking new funding for the Center’s programs.
