Internships: Seed Farm, Massachusetts

The Colrain Seed Farm is seeking interns to work with us on our biodiversity farm.  We trial, evaluate and conserve world heritage wheat and heirloom vegetables. The varieties that do well in our trials are offered by the Heritage Wheat Conservancy <growseed.org/seed.html> and in the Fedco Seed catalogue <fedcoseeds.com>, and maintained on our community seedbank.  Interns are paid $10. per hour for field work. Our 12 acre organic farm is 8 minutes north of Shelburne Falls in the foothills of the Berkshire mountains, 12 minutes from Greenfield, half an hour from Amherst and Northampton, and has a stunning river for swimming.
