In Her Boots Resilience Boot Camp
In Her Boots 2020: Resilience Boot Camp from the Midwest Organic and Sustainable Education Service
As the busy summer season kicks into high gear, our In Her Boots women farmer project launches “Resilience Boot Camp,” an 8-week campaign to help you build capacity to manage the many curveballs of farming. The boot camp includes a weekly enews, resiliency-focused conversations on our In Her Boots podcast, and two webinars to dig deeper into topics. On July 28, our webinar features Charlotte Smith of 3 Cow Marketing on “How to Set Priorities & Manage Time.” The August 18 webinar, “She’s Got Your Back: Tap into a Support Network,” showcases cooperative learning and mentorship between women farmers, hosted by Denise O’Brien, Iowa farmer and founder of the Women, Food and Agriculture Network (WFAN). If you’re not already connected to our In Her Boots programming, sign up now to catch this 8-week series.
The In Her Boots format encourages women farmers to learn from each other. In this pandemic year, we’re moving our In Her Boots events online as webinars and building on them through our In Her Boots Podcast and Facebook group. Also, now through Labor Day, we’re producing a weekly “Resilience Boot Camp” enews filled with tips to help you build capacity to manage the many curveballs of farming.
Be sure to check that you want “In Her Boots” event news in the second section.
