About the Hunger Program Coordinator Position:
Harvest Against Hunger Program Coordinator- AmeriCorps VISTA Leader: Are you interested in the intersection of hunger relief, food waste, and agriculture? Want to build your skills as a leader by supporting a cohort of 13 Americorps VISTA members and work on building capacity for the program?
Responsibilities:

Provide trainings, resources, and support to the VISTA cohort

Maintain regular contact with the cohort members through phone and email

Collect data for program reporting and assessment

Develop, expand and create a plan for the blog and social media presence

Support Harvest Against Hunger’s 10th year anniversary plans and celebration
About the program:
Come lead a network of committed AmeriCorps VISTA and work to increase the healthy food accessible to hungry populations. Harvest Against Hunger (HAH) is a program within the organization, Rotary First Harvest. Located in Seattle, HAH places AmeriCorps VISTA members at host sites nation-wide to build and strengthen gleaning and other farm-to-food bank projects. Considerations:
Compensation includes a living allowance paid biweekly, a relocation allowance, a partial stipend for rent, health benefits, and upon successful completion of the year of service, an education award of $6,095 for tuition or loans. AmeriCorps VISTA members serve their country for a year by volunteering and gain valuable skills and knowledge.
