The National Young Farmers Coalition is hosting a virtual event about funding your farm. Learn about different types of funding including crowdfunding, loans, and grants for your farm.
Learn about a new “crowdfarming” platform called Steward, as well as the Michigan Good Food Fund, and the personalized loan assistance they offer for farms. After these presentations, there will be a meet and greet with service providers to get your financing questions answered,
This is for anyone interested in starting a farm and current farm owners. If you do not want to utilize traditional lenders or have a barrier to do so, this event will be helpful in learning about more flexible loan options, no matter your credit history.
You’ll hear about a new “crowdfarming” platform called Steward, as well as learn about the Michigan Good Food Fund and their personalized loan assistance for farms. After these presentations, you will have the opportunity to meet one on one with a service provider to talk about your specific situation and get recommendations.
