Welcome Table Farm is a small, diversified, certified organic, family farm that produces high quality vegetables, fruit, and flowers just outside Walla Walla, WA. We depend on the skill and strength of people and appropriate tools to grow good food and responsibly steward the health of the farm.
WELCOME TABLE FARM APPRENTICESHIP:
During the apprenticeship the basics of operating a mixed vegetable and flower farm will be shared through hands on participation in the farm system. The apprentice will participate in all aspects of the farm including daily work, chores, planning, and marketing. The goal is for the apprentice to master a breadth of skills and be able to work independently in many different situations, building towards a career and in farming. On farm housing available. April- October. Monthly stipend. One full week of summer vacation. LI coverage. Farm food.
HOURLY EMPLOYMENT:
Bring your prior farming experience and join our farm team for a season of growing and selling great food and flowers. Farm work will include: seeding, transplanting, weeding, harvesting, direct seeding, marketing, soil prep, tractor work, irrigation, general maintenance.
Take on an area of additional reasonability: CSA Coordinator, Farm Stand Lead, and Flower Assistant. April-October. On farm housing available. $12+/hour, DOE.
WELCOME TABLE FIELD MANAGER:
Run the day-to-day field operations of vegetable and flower seeding, cultivating, harvest, crew supervision, irrigation, maintenance. Work closely with a farm owner to coordinate and plan tasks. This position has long-term potential. First season pay is at an hourly wage, March-November. Returning seasons: year-round, salaried.
