ARMYWORMS!  We are excited to have Kelley Tilmon, Field Crops Entomologist, Associate Professor at The Ohio State University as our speaker for the September episode of Farming After dark…Finding a Better Way.  Kelley’s area of expertise is the ecology and management of insect pests in agronomic crops including corn, soybean, and wheat (http://aginsects.osu.edu/ ).  She will be sharing with us about the recent invasion of armyworms and other pests that we can be looking for this time of year. 

Kelley recently worked on a project with Chris DiFonzo from Michigan State University to publish the MSU-OSU Field Crops Insect Pest Management Guide ( https://aginsects.osu.edu/news/msu-osu-insect-ipm-guide ).
