Farmers Market Manager Job – East Palo Alto

The East Palo Alto Community Farmers' Market seeks an organized individual to assist and lead in the management and operations of its weekly market. The successful candidate will be an effective and diplomatic organizer with initiative, creativity, and an understanding of food security principles; and an adept public speaker with strong outreach, organizational, financial, marketing, and project management skills.

Responsibilities include:
• On-site management of the operations of the East Palo Alto Community Farmers’ Market.
• Set up, break down, and take care of market operations equipment.
• Assist in the coordination of market special events.
• Supervise market-day volunteers, youth, and support staff as necessary.
• Recruit local growers and vendors to sell at the market.
• Provide the highest level of customer service to vendors and shoppers.
