Farm Financial Management Calendar Webinar
Free Farm Financial Management Calendar Webinar from The Carrot Project
Tuesday, February 13, 2018 from 12-12:45 p.m. (EDT)
You know that farm financial management is key to sustaining your business. But what exactly needs to be done, and when? What should you prioritize during the growing season, and what can wait for winter? Find out with our free farm financial management calendar webinar with Julia Shanks. The Farm Financial Management Calendar is a part of the Making It Happen workshop series.
This webinar is designed for farmers who already have basic financial tracking systems in place. If you do not have these systems, we encourage you to watch our basic accounting and QuickBooks webinars first.
All webinars are recorded and posted online within one week.
The Farm Financial Management Calendar webinar is part of Making It Happen: Profitability and Success. This training series is designed to give producers the ability to use four core financial management tools to improve decision-making. Participants will learn and apply financial management tools to their business that will help them answer questions such as: “Can I pay my bills?”, “Is a capital investment worth it?”, “Is this the right price?”, or “Should I add a new product line?” The training is intended for producers with at least one year of operating experience and is approved as a Massachusetts USDA Farm Service Agency borrower training. Lead presenter: Julia Shanks of The Carrot Project. We have also invited two former farm participants to assist. Registration costs $15 and includes lunch and two supplementary webinars. E-mail Kira at kbh@thecarrotproject.org with any questions.
Note to participants: As a hands-on, skills-based training, the Making It Happen program requires active input from participants. Please review these video lessons before the training begins in order to make sure you are ready to take part. We look forward to working with you!
