BFRDP Grants for Ranchers and Grazers Webinars

BFRDP Grants for Ranchers and Grazers

Check out these upcoming webinars about BFRDP grants for Ranchers and Grazers!

BFRDP (Beginning Farmer and Rancher Development Program) funds are allocated to organizations working to support new farmer entry and development. For this reason, they are not the kind of grants that individual farmers should be thinking about applying for. You can find more information about loans and grants at https://www.beginningfarmers.org/funding-resources/. And as always, we caution that grants are usually not the best use of your time and energy when trying to finance a farm. Instead, we suggest that effort should be put into writing a solid Business Plan, that can be used to apply for many different kinds of financial support.

Join the New Entry Sustainable Farming Project for upcoming webinars about BFRDP grants for ranchers and grazers.

These webinars are hosted by Consultant Allison Goin and New Entry Sustainable Farming Project

Introduction to BFRDP Grants for Ranchers and Grazers: Part 1
September 18, 1:00 pm EST

While most BFRDP-funded projects in the past have focused on training programs for beginning vegetable farmers, the “R” in BFRDP stands for Ranchers! This webinar will provide an introductory overview of how the BFRDP program can support livestock producers, grazers and ranchers by looking at prior successful projects, and addressing questions for how organizations supporting beginning livestock producers can participate in BFRDP.
Facilitated by New Entry and Consultant Allison Goin, with partner organizations TBA.
