USDA has proposed several changes to Farm Service Agency (FSA) loan programs to help more beginning farmers and ranchers. The Microloan limit would rise from $35,000 to $50,000. FSA Direct Farm Ownership loans would permit experiences like internships, apprenticeships, and education to count.
