Beginning Farmer Training Program in Virginia, 2012

So, you wanna be a farmer? Check out the Northern Piedmont Beginning Farmer Training Program in Virginia, 2012.

The Ed Farm, Virginia Cooperative Extension, and Fauquier County’s Department of Agriculture Development will conduct a seven month program for local residents who might want to start a farm operation. The program will provide participants with the information and advice necessary to make an informed decision whether to: 1) Act on their idea, 2) Postpone their idea, 3) Leave farming to others.
