Selling Farm Products Online – Free Course
We felt we could do some good by sharing our expertise and developing a completely free step-by-step course to help folks make the transition to selling online and shipping their goods in 5 days.
Many of you have lost your old sales channels (farmers markets, pickups, dropoffs) amid the coronavirus shutdowns. We’ve been blessed to be relatively unhurt by all this, but were racking our brains for some way to help those who are struggling due to the shutdowns.
This is our way of doing that. This course is completely free, no strings attached, and helps you get started shipping your product in just 5 days. We’ve been shipping and selling online for 17 years now, and in this course we’ll share some of the lessons we’ve learned along the way.
Perhaps you’re a little overwhelmed at the idea of creating an entire store online as well as figuring out all the logistics of shipping materials, working with shipping carriers, or how you should even sell your products (a la carte? As packages? As eighths or quarters?).
However, despite all the seeming complications between Point A and Point B, it really doesn’t have to be difficult. You don’t need fancy or expensive equipment when you’re starting out. We shipped for years out of a garage and 2 chest freezers before finally upgrading to a shipping warehouse and a walk-in freezer! You also don’t need a super complicated website with lots of products at first. If you’re just starting out, it’s ok to stick to the basics. You don’t need to ship nationwide–in fact, you shouldn’t! And finally, in this course we’ll show you how you don’t need to go figure out problems like how to ship through UPS, how to process credit card payments online, or how to manage orders. Instead, we’ll give you a seamless solution for these problems.
So overall, shipping and selling farm products online on your own storefront doesn’t have to be complicated! In fact, you can be doing it in just 5 days.
