Join farmer and owner Keith Ohlinger for a tour of his livestock farm, where all of the animals are raised in an agroforestry setting, and a discussion on how to set up a new, diversified livestock operation. 9/28 Cut Flowers: Advanced Annuals, Post-Harvest Handling, and Season Extension 1:00 – 4:00 pm at Masterpiece Flower Farm, Whaleyville MD. 10/8 Honeybee Field Day 5:30 – 8:00 pm at the UMES Apiary, Prince Anne, MD. Learn the basics of keeping bees, the issues causing honeybee decline, and enjoy a honey tasting.
