The UC Small Farm Program and UCCE would like to invite you to the “Collaborating to Access New Markets” workshop to discuss collaboration by small and mid-scale growers in Woodland, CA on June 29, 2011. Here is an agenda and flier.

Collaborating to Access New Markets” workshop, offered by the UC Small Farm Program, will focus on ways to increase market power and tackle logistical challenges for small- and medium-sized farms and ranches.
How can you collaborate to grow your farming business, when it comes to storage, cooling, processing, promotion, marketing, distribution or food safety? Learn from experienced, small-farm cooperative leaders and plan together for the future.
This workshop is co-sponsored by the Yolo County Agricultural Commissioner and The “UC Cooperative Extension in Yolo, Sacramento, San Joaquin, Solano, Sonoma, Lake, Contra Costa and Marin counties.
