Trade Team Leader: The Trade Team Leader is responsible for managing the Red Tomato Trade Team as well as managing specific product lines and customer accounts. The Trade Team sells, markets and provides logistics for about $3 million+ annually in fruits and vegetables from a loose network of about 40 family farmers. The Trade Team Leader is a full-time position and reports to Red Tomato’s Founder and Trade Team Evangelist.

Account/Product Manager: We’re seeking to expand the current Trade Team with an account/product manager to join us in our quest to help regional farms thrive and help consumers gain better access to healthy produce grown here in the northeast. Being a member of the Red Tomato Trade Team requires a broad set of skills and interests. The person hired will be both an account manager and a product manager and will also be asked to manage projects. As Account Manager, the new team member will manage new and existing accounts, grow sales in their accounts and be responsible for sales fulfillment for their accounts. As Product Manager, the new team members will manage product lines with growers and is responsible for pricing and gross margin of their assigned products.

Director of Development: The Director of Development (DD) is responsible for: developing and implementing a comprehensive, multi-year fundraising strategy; participating in annual budgeting and strategic planning processes; managing the department; supervising the Development Associate; and maintaining outstanding funder relations. The work includes grant writing, cultivating individual and major donors, identifying and pursuing new funding sources, preparing evaluation reports for funders, and conducting annual fund appeals. The DD leads and coordinates the staff and board in development activities. The position is full time and reports to one of RT’s Co-Directors.
