Position Title: FARMING & BUSINESS SPECIALIST

Position Start Date: March 2017 is ideal
Employment terms: This is a full-time salaried position, averaging 35 hours/week. Due to the seasonal nature of responsibilities, this position is 40 hours/week April – October and closer to 30 hours/week November – March. The position is grant funded until December 2017, with the possibility to renew based on funding and performance.
Salary & Benefits: $32,000 – 37,000/year depending on experience. Health benefits provided through Center for Transformative Action.
This position primary supports the farming and business aspirations of a diverse group of farmers enrolled in the Incubator Farm Program and coordinates Groundswell’s Farm Business courses.
Position Title: DEVELOPMENT & FUNDRAISING MANAGER

Employment terms: This is a 30 hour/week position with the possibility to increase to 39 hours/week after 3 months. This position is grant funded until December 2017, with the possibility to renew based on funding and performance.
Salary & Benefits: $29,000 – 36,000/year depending on qualifications. Health benefits provided through Center for Transformative Action.
This position primarily manages the donor development and fundraising needs of the organization by working closely with Groundswell board and director.
Position Title: FARMING ASSISTANT

Position Start Date: Flexible, ideally April
Employment terms: This is a part-time, seasonal position, 15-19 hours/week April – October 2017. An opportunity to increase hours and position term may become available depending on funding.
Salary & Benefits: $15-17/hour depending on qualifications. Health benefits are not available for this position.
This position primarily assists the Farming & Business Specialist to support the production aspirations of a diverse group of farmers enrolled in the Incubator Farm Program by working closely with GS Staff and by maintaining the Incubator Farm site.
