United We Farm Conference 2016 – Join the Farmer Veteran Coalition for the Largest Gathering of Farmer Veterans in the Nation

Next month, farmer veterans from around the nation will descend upon Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan, at the largest gathering of farmer veterans in the country for three days of educational tracks, farm visits, guest panels, distinguished speakers and much more.

Join us November 30 to December 2, as we unite farmer veterans with the governmental, agricultural and nonprofit groups that support them. Take a look below for a small glimpse of what you can expect at this one-of-a-kind gathering of veterans who have been mobilized to feed America.

Taking the first step into agriculture can be the toughest for veterans. Hear directly from these successful farmer veterans about how they got their start and are now thriving in their agricultural endeavors.

Government Partners Panel

For the third year, the Government Partners Panel is back. Listen as leaders from USDA, Small Business Administration, Veterans Affairs, and Departments of Labor and Defense discuss policies affecting farmer veterans. Have a question for them? Ask away during the Q & A Session.

Educational Tracks & Farm Tours

Livestock, Bees and Beneficials, Cropping, and Business are just a few of the educational breakout sessions planned during the conference. Attendees will also tour Michigan State University’s world-class livestock and vegetable production facilities.Camaraderie and Community Building
