Organic Farming Jobs in Minnesota at Wozupi Organic Farm – 2016

Wozupi is an organic farm just outside of Minneapolis, Minnesota committed to growing food in a way that nourishes the earth, the community, and people’s minds and bodies. Using environmentally-sustainable and fair labor practices, they grow vegetables, herbs and fruit, produce eggs, honey, and maple syrup, and provide educational, therapeutic, and fun opportunities at the farm and through community outreach. We have over 15 acres and offer over 200 TSA shares.  In addition to TSA, we grow for 3 farmer markets.

For the 2016 growing season we are looking for both full and part time seasonal Farm Laborers to help in different roles. As a Farm Laborer you may do any of the following (based on the Farm Laborer position you apply for):

• Greenhouse work
• Planting
• Weed management
• Harvesting, washing and packing vegetables
• Harvesting honey
• Caring for our animals (chickens, goats, Bees)
• Make maple syrup
• Help in the orchard
• Work at the Farmer’s Market

We’re looking for someone who is self-motivated; detail oriented, and can work quickly while maintaining our quality standards. Previous farm work is helpful, but a good work ethic and attitude are essential. Farm work is hard, fast-paced, and often exhausting- but also rewarding.  Applicants must have a vehicle, have a valid Driver’s License (with a good driving record), be in good physical shape, be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly, and enjoy working outside in all types of weather.
